Malabar Scrub Sanctuary by Bicycle, May 16, 2015

I used my bicycle to quickly reach the north and east areas of the sanctuary. My bike is a road bike, not a mountain bike, so I stayed on paved trails. I rode the abandoned concrete road (Malabar Woods Blvd) through the sanctuary to the north end, where I exited and rode east on the Boundary Canal Trail. That trail runs along the northern boundary of the sanctuary. At the east end of Boundary Canal Trail, I turned right onto the Al Tuttle Trail, which runs along the east side of the sanctuary. A wooden bridge crosses over a marshy area.
