Jordan Scrub Sanctuary, May 13, 2015

This was my first visit to the Jordan Scrub Sanctuary. It's located at the end of Marie Street in Palm Bay, about 1 mile south of Malabar Rd. I walked only about 0.3 mile on the White Trail, which runs northeast from the trailhead. The area that I walked through was dry longleaf pine, saw palmetto, gallberry, and wiregrass habitat. There are several ponds and marshy areas in the sanctuary.
