Wickham Park: Senior Life Interview, August 13, 2010

Mary Brotherton, Editor, Senior Life Newspaper, a local monthly paper aimed at seniors, interviewed me as I gave her a tour of some of the wildflowers of Wickham Park.
    In addition to the three wildflowers shown below, we also saw rose-rush, blackroot, rough hedgehyssop, beeblossom, rosy camphorweed, redroot, yelloweyed grass, yellow stargrass, buttonweed, mock bishopsweed (gone to seed), blue mistflower, whitemouth dayflower, capeweed, beggarweed, bluehearts, smartweed, smooth waterhyssop, starrush whitetop, climbing hempvine, Spanish needles, fourpetal St. Johns-wort, elephantsfoot, tarflower (gone to seed), partridge pea, camphorweed, Adam's needle, yellow milkwort, meadowbeauty, muscadine grape, and Florida beargrass.

Florida Viceroy

The Florida Viceroy mimics the Monarch. This particular Viceroy is shown resting on a primrose willow branch.
